The Josephine Knot

The Josephine knot resembles a pretzel. This is a pretty big knot and it is only useful to know how to tie a scarf using this technique if your body weight is light and the scarf is a bit narrow.

Place the scarf around the neck, leaving the ends loose and with the same purpose. With the right palm facing to catch the left tail of the wrap, roll your hand up and towards your body to create a loop where the end section is open to the rear.
Enter where the scarf crosses with your left hand and take the right of the front sling loop, but behind the tail loose. Bring the tail above the loop and feed it up on itself, and back under the loop and shoot.
You can leave the node in bulk or as loud as you want. You can also adjust the knot to hang different lengths. You can even choose to keep the knot tied and just remove the scarf on her head to be quickly put back later.

Lark's Head Knot

The head knot lark is extremely simple and elegant. It is great to know how to tie a scarf this way because it lends itself more to any material.

Place the scarf around the neck, leaving the left end approximately 1/3 longer.
Create a large shift in the center of the left tail.
Fold the loop created from the elbow of your other half to the outside which will create two smaller loops.
Take the right tail loose and feed through the loops. You'll go behind the first piece, under the second and third layer and again after the last. Again this node can be closely tied or left loose. To move the height of the node, you simply slide up and down holding the right tense.

You can also use this knot loosely tied around your neck. Remember to leave the collar open wide and play with the scarf and drape placement of the node.
